“了” is used in Chinese to express a motion or situation that has already been changed or completed. The word “還沒” has a negative meaning and is opposite to “了”. These two sentence patterns are used very often in answers to questions.
We provide three questions for students to learn how to use the sentence patterns “了” and “還沒” for positive and negative answers. The comic strips and animations help learners to distinguish easier between “了” and “還沒”.
